Default What's a decent average on Midas Miner?

I'm playing Midas Miner, and so far it's been like free cash to me...people averaging 20k while I'm averaging around 35k. I have a ton of Bejeweled experience so I know I have a head start in gameplay -- but what do real Midas Miner players score? Are averages around 60-70k? How is it pulled off consistently?

It also depends on what rank you are. Different ranks seems to get different number of jewels. I remember winning a few daily progressives scoring under 40k. If you have the board with the midas coin, then a decent average is 40k. But if you have a board without the midas coin, 50k is a good score.

I need 50K to have a good chance to win in the higher ranks (rank nearing 12000)

I'm playing against 5000-5900ers and I haven't seen anyone score 50k vs me in a 1on1 yet...and my highest score is still only 47k. I gotta see how you guys consistently score 55k...I'm lightning fast and I can see 4-5 chain moves, so there must be an extra element to it lol

The key to the game is just to stay at the bottom and stay active and going for chains. Doing this alone guarantees 40k minimum on each game. Then, you are bound to get a few long chains worth over 10k points a piece which should boost your score significantly.

well for me its always have been around 30-40K,
So 60-70K would be a better score anyhow, if u can practice a bit u can even get more.
