Default What can we do about king.com cheats?

Recently I played a tournament on King.com and got 12000+ and came in first. However before it closed, another member got 18,000+ which I thought was crazy!? Then I started reading and it seems you can cheat?
Is there anything we can do about it? If the person cheated then shouldn't it be investigated and then him banned and first prize to come back to the original winner who didn't?
I'm sorry if these questions have been answered but I've been playing for ages and didn't EVEN KNOW IT!? I just thought these guys were really good!

The cheating mentioned in some user's posts so far on King.com aren't possible in cash games, as far as I understand.

Was it a cash progressive tournament? What rank were you playing at?

18k isn't TOO rare to come by, but that is a reallllly good score that can take 1st in most daily progressives. Maybe you were up against someone who made a 2nd account and is taking advantage of being bottom ranked...?

Also, what game was it? Was it for Bejeweled?

    Hi Guys!

Oh so the cheat isn't abled to be used for the cash games on king.com?

Yup it was those daily progressive tournaments which you can enter 6 times
I was playing at the rank below empress and after coming second in the tournament made it to empress.

And the game was Bejeweled 2.

But How I don't understand is that some people get 20k + in the progressive tournaments! IS that really possible? My highest ever score is 15k only..

    Thanks guys!

Also I have seen this guy on you tube with a bot that plays bejeweled 2. Do you think it is possible people are using this to cheat? As it isn't a manipulation of the game score code but an actual bot playing the game on your computuer?

    Thanks

Well lesta, there are Bejeweled bots (Is this the video you were talking about?):

But I don't think it'd be any concern on King.com or Worldwinner. That's the arcade game, going by a different set of rules, and having different scoring values (over 10x as much). Even if there are bots for King or Worldwinner's version of Bejeweled, it'd have to be pure luck with a miracle-chain to break 10,000, or even 6,000. It simply can't strategize, which is pretty vital. (Or, if it were programmed to strategize, it'd have to factor in every gem and every possibly move on the board, and it'd take too long to process moves.)

I think some people have used them, though. It's supposedly really easy to detect on King/Worldwinner's part and they take action pretty quick.

20k+ is very rare to come by. It takes some luck and a very good game board. The last progressive I played was a very good board. I only played once and got 13k and was only ranked in the 60's. The top 20 scores were 15k+ and the top score was 23k.

    Hey

Oh I think we must have played the same progressive. I played once and got 11k but then I saw the 20k+ ppl and gave up!! I thought it must have been cheating or just too bloody good for me but now I guess I should have just played on!

    Thanks guys! Will practice now
