I am originally a gamer. I professionally played games as a career for a couple of years.
I won many tournaments, played with the best, top'd leagues, and all in all had a complete blast doing it and earning myself £20,000+ in the process.
I briefly looked at skill gaming a couple of times, but never really made anything out of it, or took the time to get good at any of the games.
Then I tried king.com, carnival shootout is any FPS gamers dream. You play good gaming in FPS you play good in that.
I quickly made myself £150ish and cashed out, after king complained at me for a while they eventually gave me my money.
Since then, my rank in carnival got to a point where it was really hard to consistantly win money, so I moved to other games where my rank was lower.
I have cashed out nearly £800 from king now, and although its not fantastic money, it is a LOT easier than playing general games professionally. I am learning to play zuma on worldwinner and may give that a go again soon.
I strongly believe, that as Poker was a huge hit, and then it was followed up by Bingo been a huge hit online, that skill gaming will take it's place. Just the time needs to be right and the right features need to be in place on the sites.
