I wouldn't get too excited over King, nor the smaller German and French competitors ... they all got $$$ boosts from what I have read, and it's easier to nail down investors that come from the regulated/legal/not-quite-so-legal online gambling casinos ... those are very different social circles than what the average joe here can do walking into his local Wells Fargo to beg for a biz loan.

I'd say you pulled this off for less than $5000. But, only based on personal experience (I wouldn't know where to start to put together a skill gaming world) ... because I borrowed that much (that was my limit on my American Express) to launch a shop online back in the late 90's, which grossed 6 figures in the first-second year, before falling hard during
the last friggin' recession!
